Success!

Aidan’s first trip to sit on Santa’s lap was a total success! I was a tad bit worried he wouldn’t do it, but he did!And thanks to my mom, he had a fabulous little red sweater from Gymboree for his cheesy mall picture. (They don’t allow professional cameras. Grrrr.) Every day, my son amazes me. When he went to sit on Santa’s lap, he asked Aidan what he wanted for Christmas, and he told him, “A new, new truck!” It was hysterical. Just so adorable that I could eat him up! And what a great Santa they had! He was very fragile looking, I actually thought Aidan might hurt him. The child is so heavy. He was a little worried at first, but Santa started talking to him quietly, and Aidan was completely fine. I love Christmas. It’s amazing to see it through my son’s eyes. And in case you’re wondering, we didn’t make it to see Santa last year because Dan couldn’t go with us because he was deployed. I didn’t want him to miss such a great moment, and he didn’t have to.I’m so thankful that the 3 of us are together now.
