I have been looking forward to this wedding for a long time. From the moment I met Melissa, I knew I wanted to photograph her wedding. She’s smart, beautiful, has a great sense of style, kind and best of all, madly in love with her then-fiance, Scott. I was thrilled they had hired me for their spring wedding, and when I met Scott at their engagement session, I immediately realized he also held all of the same wonderful qualities Melissa does. These two were certainly made for each other. Melissa and Scott went to the same high school, though they didn’t really know each other. After college, a mutual friend re-introduced them, and the rest was history!
There are SO many images from this wedding that I’m going to break it up into more than 1 post. Probably 2. Maybe 3.

Her dress was utterly elegant.
She was opening her wedding gift from Scott. She teared up when she read the card – as did everyone in the room. It was so sweet…
The gift? A beautiful pearl ring.
One of her gifts to him was a custom made pair of Nikes with their wedding date. I think that’s the coolest wedding gift I’ve ever seen.

) We had gorgeous weather, and I always love shooting in Old Town St. Charles. I find different places to shoot everytime I walk up Main Street with a couple. Love that!!!
